Atrocities

As many of you know, I live in the U.S., but my Facebook page (as well as the phenomenon of being a beautiful mess inside) is a global one.
I am shocked, stunned, saddened, and greatly troubled by the events in Connecticut today. What’s even more troubling to is that we know atrocities across the world go unnoticed, unstopped, and unmentioned everyday.
I questioned whether or not we should continue posting to The Facebook Page today. My decision is to take an hour off. An hour off to sit silently with the knowing that there is indeed ugly, horrible, tragedy in the world, but in that mess there is also beauty.

A beautiful idea and I look forward to seeing ABMI back on FB with the usual great inspiration x And the quote couldn’t have put it any better.
It seems odd that the people were surprised when it was determined that evil did in fact exist in this day and age. It was more shocking to consider that it had not been considered before this tragedy. No one in the right frame of mind willingly allows evil to enter, abide and control them. Evil is typically more subtle yet it is fast becoming apparent that when evil has its perfect moment it c
omes almost without warning. People are left musing and bewildered, shocked and dismayed, devastated and destroyed. Then comes the injustice when evil takes itself out of the picture and there is no recourse for affected parties, no revenge, no justice in the eyes of the slighted. Whence comes the horror at life in the presence of absence, whence comes the horror? There will be no wisdom, no satisfactory answers or solutions, there will only be questions and struggles and heartaches and pain for the days to come and the ones who remain in the nightmare. Each must find their own way, their own peace, their own sanity or insanity as the case may be. God help them when they finaly come to that place.
