As many of you know, I live in the U.S., but my Facebook page (as well as the phenomenon of being a beautiful mess inside) is a global one.
I am shocked, stunned, saddened, and greatly troubled by the events in Connecticut today. What’s even more troubling to is that we know atrocities across the world go unnoticed, unstopped, and unmentioned everyday.
I questioned whether or not we should continue posting to The Facebook Page today. My decision is to take an hour off. An hour off to sit silently with the knowing that there is indeed ugly, horrible, tragedy in the world, but in that mess there is also beauty.
My message is and always has been… find something beautiful in this world each day or the darkness wins.Our Facebook posts will be back next hour. Hopefully they will bring you what you need today. My heart is with you and the planet today. I am praying for peace.
